Pioneer Leaders in AI and Robotics (PLAIR)

An Initiative For Western Mass High School Students in STEM

About the Initiative

Pioneer Leaders in AI and Robotics (PLAIR) is an outreach program initiated by faculties from the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst designed to address the challenges of highschool students who has limited access to research-oriented activities.

By connecting cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics with high school education in Western Mass, we aim to inspire young minds through hands-on research opportunities and academic mentorship. Our initiative leverages the expertise of CICS researchers and graduate student mentors to create a dynamic pipeline for future STEM leaders while fostering lasting community partnerships.
